What this is

BIASA Focus Timer is a work-and-break timer whose job is not to count time but to get you out of the chair. Every break opens as its own screen with a ready sequence of exercises chosen to fit its length. It is free, runs straight in the browser with no account and no ads, and settings and stats stay on your device.

How it works

Common questions

How is this different from a plain Pomodoro timer?

A plain timer only counts down and rings. Here the break is its own screen with a ready exercise sequence, and in strict mode Done unlocks only after real movement. A skipped break turns into a debt.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It is a single web page. You can add it to your home screen and it launches like a normal app and works offline.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Settings, stats and rituals live in the browser local storage. There is no server, no account, no trackers and no ads. You can export the stats as JSON.

Will the alert sound if the screen is off?

Yes, the sound is scheduled in advance. On Android, lift battery restrictions for the browser and do not swipe the tab away from recents. On iOS, Safari stops audio a few minutes after locking — there, keep the screen on.

How often should I get up from the computer?

Research on sedentary behaviour converges on short breaks roughly every half hour: a few minutes of light activity noticeably blunts the rise in glucose and blood pressure compared with sitting straight through.

What exercises does it offer?

Thirty-seven across six groups: legs, back and neck, chest and shoulders, wrists, eyes and recovery. Intensity switches between three levels, and anything unsuitable can be turned off for good.
