RetroGlitch — a small effects studio that never phones home
Every effect here is a shader running on your own graphics card, and every sound is built in the browser's audio engine. Photos, videos and music stay on the device: there is no server, no account and no advertising.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Pictures, video and music are read straight from the disk into the tab. You can disconnect from the network and everything keeps working.
What can I export?
A PNG still, an animated GIF encoded by the page itself, and a video with sound recorded off the canvas — MP4 where the browser allows it, WebM otherwise.
How do the visuals follow the music?
The sound is measured as it plays. Loudness warps the picture, bass peaks are read as beats and punch the effect, and in Auto mode those beats also decide when to cut to another effect.
What happens to the microphone?
It goes into the local audio graph and nowhere else — nothing is stored or sent, and it is released as soon as another source is chosen.
Why is it slow on an old phone?
Each frame is drawn at the full resolution of the picture. A smaller format, a larger cell size, or fewer finish effects all give the graphics chip an easier time.
