Grain is generated procedurally in the fragment shader from an integer hash, so it never tiles or bands. Five algorithms are available: Film (smooth value noise weighted toward the midtones), Silver (two octaves that clump like a fast black-and-white stock), Digital (per-pixel sensor noise), Halide (sparse hard specks) and Chroma (independent noise per colour channel). Grain is measured against the full-resolution photo, so the export matches the preview exactly.
JPG and WEBP with an adjustable quality slider — 85% by default — lossless PNG, and GIF with a median-cut 256-colour palette and Floyd–Steinberg dithering. Output size is adjustable with the aspect ratio locked.
Yes. The panels become drag-resizable bottom sheets and Snapseed-style gestures work straight on the photo: swipe on the left half to change film, on the right half to pick a setting vertically and adjust it horizontally.
