Everything here runs as JavaScript on your own machine. A PDF you open is parsed, changed and written back inside this browser tab: no server, no account, no advertising, no upload.

Questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the network and every tool still works. The only thing fetched from outside is the PDF engine itself, once.
Can it work on several files at once?
Yes. Merge and images-to-PDF pull everything into one file. Every other tool runs over each file in turn and hands the results back as a ZIP when there is more than one.
Is a watermark any protection?
No, and nothing that draws on a page can be. The text is a new layer over the original, which means anybody with a proper PDF editor can peel it off again. Treat it as a label, not a lock.
Why does the text come out empty?
Because the document is a scan: a picture of a page, with no text layer inside it. Getting words out of that needs optical character recognition, which this tool does not do.
What about password-protected files?
A file that only restricts printing or copying opens fine. One that asks for a password before it will display at all cannot be read here, and this tool will not try to get around that.
